Our Purpose
Firefighter Prayer Network is a group of believers in the fire industry who want to help others by spreading the gospel.
Our Story
In 2023, in Indianapolis, IN in a ballroom at The Westin hotel downtown, a small group of Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus employees gathered after a FDIC prayer breakfast to pray over the prayer requests we received over breakfast by the roughly 100 attendees. The team from Brindlee Mountain was deeply moved by how many prayer requests were submitted and how heavy so many of the issues were. Our hearts were stirred in so many ways as we prayed and reflected on the heavy burdens the people in the room carried. Our thoughts went immediately to the 20,000+ firefighters directly across the street in the convention center - who is praying for their needs? What burdens are they carrying? How can we pray for them? This thought led to the creation of Firefigher Prayer Network.
